Located between Columbus and Akron off of U.S. Route 62, Danville School District has much to offer students from pre-school through 12th grade. As of 2010, Danville was ranked among the top schools in the state of Ohio based on outstanding test results. Students and parents at Danville are given ample resources at school and at home to supplement what they learn in the classroom. Danville Elementary School emphasizes the importance of reading through a number of fun incentive programs such as the annual Evening of Reading, held for parents and students in the school cafeteria. Recently the humorist Brian Cleary visited Danville Elementary, giving Danville students the opportunity to ask a published writer about the writing process. Parents can get involved by volunteering directly at the school or through the Academic Boosters.

This May, the Danville Blue Devils returned to district softball playoffs for the sixth year in a row. Whether in the classroom or on the playing field, students at Danville School District learn that diligence is the key to success.
